Something is slow or not working

Updated Oct 11, 2026

Before raising a ticket, these four checks resolve most reports and — just as usefully — tell us where the problem is not.

Quick checks

  1. Hard refresh — Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + R. Fixes a surprising share of "broken" screens. See The page is blank or out of date.
  2. Try a private window. If it works there, the problem is your cached copy or an extension, not your account or your data.
  3. Try another network. Switching off a VPN, or from office wifi to a phone hotspot, rules out a corporate network or firewall.
  4. Check whether it is just you. Ask a colleague to open the same page. "Everyone" and "only me" lead to completely different investigations.

If one specific sheet or view is slow

Very large views are the usual cause. Narrowing what is loaded usually restores speed immediately:

  • Add a filter so the view shows the records you actually work with rather than everything.
  • Group or hide columns you do not need on screen.
  • Split a sheet that has grown to hold several unrelated kinds of record.

If an automation stopped working

Check the connection it depends on. An expired or revoked token fails quietly, and the automation just stops — open Profile settings → Connections and look for an amber dot.

What to send us

A ticket with these is usually solved on the first reply. Without them, the first reply is us asking for them:

  • The link to the sheet, view or page.
  • What you expected, and what happened instead.
  • When it happened, and whether it happens every time or occasionally.
  • Whether a private window behaves differently.
  • Whether colleagues see it too.
  • A screenshot, if there is anything visible to see.

When you file from inside the app we automatically include your current page, browser and app version — no screen content — so you do not need to describe your setup.
