Embed a dashboard on a space home

Updated Oct 13, 2026

A dashboard people have to remember to open is a dashboard nobody opens. Embedding it on a space home page puts the numbers in front of the team on the way to their work.

Do it

  1. Open the space's home page.
  2. Add a dashboard block.
  3. Choose the dashboard.

It renders live — the same current numbers as the dashboard itself, not a snapshot.

What belongs there

The three or four things this team should know today:

  • What is overdue.
  • What is blocked.
  • What arrived that nobody has picked up.
  • The one number the team is judged on.

Resist adding everything. A space home is a glance, not a report — anything needing study belongs on the dashboard itself.

A pattern that works

Space home = a short intro, then the numbers, then links to the sheets people use daily. New joiners get oriented, and everyone else gets a status check without asking anyone.

Access still applies

An embedded dashboard only appears for people who can open its sheet; everyone else sees the tile's setup steps. See Who can see a dashboard?.
