Create a booking link

Updated Sep 11, 2026

A booking link is a public page where someone picks a slot you are actually free for. It replaces the "does Tuesday work?" thread.

Set one up

  1. Create a scheduling link.
  2. Give it a name the invitee will understand — 30-minute intro, project kickoff.
  3. Set the duration.
  4. Add buffers before or after, so calls do not land back to back.
  5. Choose which calendar to check for conflicts, and which meeting tool to generate a link with.
  6. Save, and copy the public URL.

What decides the slots offered

Two things together: your working hours, and your connected calendar. A slot is offered only when it is inside your hours and nothing else occupies it.

If slots look wrong, the cause is almost always one of those two rather than the link itself. See Working hours and availability.

Sharing it

Put the URL in your email signature, on a page, or send it in a message. The person opening it needs no account.

Worth setting up

  • A buffer. Fifteen minutes between calls is the difference between a good day and a bad one.
  • A video tool, so the meeting link is generated rather than pasted.
  • A clear name, since it is the first thing the invitee reads.
