Creative Production & Review

Every round, every reviewer, and what "approved" actually meant

AgencyCreativeProject Management

About this template

A creative review and approval workflow for agencies: the asset, its version, each round you sent, who reviewed it, and every piece of feedback as something you can action, reject or bill.

What's inside

  • Assets — the creative in production, as tasks. Each carries its version, its current round, a review state, and the one reviewer whose approval is final
  • Review Rounds — one row per round you actually sent, with what came back. This is the sheet that answers "why are we on round five"
  • Feedback — individual feedback items, each classified as a change request, a question, a nice-to-have or out of scope, and each resolved as actioned, rejected, parked or new scope
  • Reviewers — who reviews, on which side, and whether they are the Approver, a Contributor, or just Informed
  • Projects — the container, with rounds included written down where everyone can see it
  • Dashboards — assets by review state, average round, and the over-servicing view: how much out-of-scope work you absorbed instead of quoting

Why rounds are their own sheet: a round counter on the asset tells you that you are on round five. It cannot tell you why. Recording each round — what you sent, who it went to, what came back — is what turns "this client is difficult" into "three of the last five rounds were out-of-scope requests we absorbed", which is a conversation you can actually have.

No module required, so it installs into any workspace. Pairs with Agency Client Delivery for the wider delivery picture, and Agency Client Onboarding, which is where the Approver gets named in the first place.
